Fountain Pen Day Returns With A Guest Appearance

By Jennifer Houghton

Every year Fountain Pen Day seems to get a little bit bigger. This year is no exception and you had better be prepared to celebrate on November 4th!

Atlas will be welcoming Mr. Fountain Pen Day himself, Cary Yeager of Kenro, to the storefront. You can stop by or participate online because there will be all kinds of specials happening. Get ready for giveaways, swag, games, and all of the Atlas promotions you’ve come to love and look forward to.

If you want a little history behind the day, head on over to last year’s blog on the origin of the holiday (https://www.atlasstationers.com/blogs/news/the-fountain-pen-holiday-we-all-can-celebrate).

So for me, this year I plan to take one ink and fill up one pen and spend the day attempting to write it dry. You heard it right. I plan to see if in the course of one day I can write enough to drain one pen.

So what challenge are you taking on this Fountain Pen Day? Or is there a special item you hope to pick up this year? Tell us about it in the comments.

I accomplished none of my aspirations for the 4th.

I have multiple aspirations for today. First throughout the day I hope to penable at least one financially stable friend (being unemployed currently, I know the psych pain of only window-shopping or burning a hole in my wallet). In addition I would like to improve my signature consistency, learn how to do an appealing capital M in hopes to replace the atrocious looking one I have in my natural handwriting. I aspire to illustrate a piece only in ink that I’d be proud of. No under sketching. And if that’s not enough I’m going to go on the discord app and talk in the pen servers about more goals. I plan on finding more social media content creators to follow as well. More pen friends.
