Discover the art of creating beautiful wax seals using traditional wick sealing wax. In this hands-on workshop, Cathy will guide participants through the process of melting and pouring vegan sealing wax sticks before creating custom wax seals suitable for journals, letters, gift wrapping, handmade cards, and creative projects.
Along the way, you'll learn professional tips and tricks, including how to reduce carbon residue in your wax, rescue and reuse imperfect seals, achieve cleaner impressions, and create consistently beautiful results. Participants will have the opportunity to practice multiple techniques and leave with a collection of finished wax seals and the confidence to continue creating at home.
Safety Notice: This workshop involves the use of an open flame. Participants will be lighting wick sealing wax with a lighter and working with hot, melted wax. By purchasing a ticket and attending this workshop, participants acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the event. Participants must exercise caution while handling flame and hot materials. Participants must be 18+ or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
