I received the Conklin shipped in a sturdy flip top case which contained both the converter and 2 cartridges. The pen is an attractive walnut barrel and cap with rose colored meta...view morel trim and pocket clip. The nib is black with a fine point. I prefer pens which are thick barreled as they are less tiring to hold although some may find the pen somewhat heavy. The Conklin fits the bill for comfort and the nib does not scratch the paper when writing. The pen is large enough that the cap does not need to be posted when writing. As I am somewhat OCD, I need to find an ink which matches the pen barrel. I am using Monteverde Fireopal for now. Glad to add it to my collection. view less
